“Live” Christmas Morning Devotion with Santa

Parents, gather the family and join us Christmas morning for this “live streaming” family devotion. Even a guest appearance from Santa before he goes to Hawaii for a long over due vacation.  It’s a prerecorded video you can watch before or after opening gifts.  You can even watch in the car.

You may be traveling or visiting with family and not attending a church service, so we encourage you to take time on Christmas, Christ’s birthday, to focus on Him.  It’s so important, especially those of you with children, so they grow up keeping Christ in Christmas.

You may want to open with prayer and sing a few worshipful songs.  (Below are a few links to Youtube songs with lyrics.)  After watching the 13 minute video, there are a few questions for discussion to apply and connect the message with those you are with .  After, close in prayer, giving thanks to God for giving us the greatest gift!  (You just had a worship service at home!)

Bangkok Bound…Homes Devoted Going Global

In confirmation that the mission of Homes Devoted™ is God’s heart to minister to families and churches, the Lord has provided an opportunity I could not have even imagined: to serve pastors and ministry leaders at a GLOBAL summit in Thailand!!

Dr. Rob Rienow of Visionary Family Ministries (http://visionaryfam.com/) and Dr. Scott Turansky of the National Center for Biblical Parenting (http://visionaryfam.com/) serve on the global advisory team for a movement called the 4/14 Window (http://www.4to14window.com).  Scott Turansky serves as the chairman of the North America family ministry team and has personally asked me to represent the USA in facilitating the family ministry track of this summit with Pastor Matthew Ling of Malaysia!

This movement is stirring in the hearts of pastors all over the globe!  From traveling the east coast in May to now venturing to the other side of the planet, I am thrilled to endeavor in what God is doing!  I don’t know what doors God is going to open or the difference this is going to make for His Kingdom, I am just humbled and honored to be a part of what He is doing.

You too can participate in this mission to equip parents all over the world!  I need to raise support of $2,750 to fund the mission.  One thing is for sure: God is working, leading and guiding.  To donate towards His work, it is now even more convenient through our new online donation site.

Please be praying for us through all that God is doing; it is an honor and privilege to serve Him in this way!

This amazing mission, and the miracles surrounding, remind me of Ephesians 3:20: “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.”

 Learning from past generations to impact future generations.

The business of life often gets in the way of listening and learning from our grandparents: those of wisdom and life experience who have lived decades longer than our children.  Photo albums are left incomplete, journals are left blank and letters are left unwritten.  Therefore, memories are lost and wisdom is preserved instead of passed on.
